Why I Do What I Do After years of being immersed in art — from earning my B.A. in Art Therapy to becoming certified in both powder ombré brows and nano feather brows — I realized my passion was creating art directly on skin. In 2023, I opened my private studio to focus on fine line tattoos and permanent makeup for women and femme-aligned individuals. This choice wasn’t about exclusion. It came from experience — and a commitment to safety. Working alone in a private studio means I’m intentional about who I bring into my space. There’s no rushing here — just time, attention, and artistry. Permanent Makeup Services & Fine Line Tattoos — FAQ General Q: Where are you located? A: I work out of a private studio in Clinton, IL. This space is designed for comfort, connection, and a safe, relaxing experience for women and femme-aligned individuals only. Q: How do I book an appointment? A: All bookings are done through my online booking link. NEW CLIENTS MUST fill out a quick form before booking so I can make sure we’re the right fit. Q: Who do you work with? A: I only work with women and femme-aligned individuals to maintain the safe, respectful environment I’ve created in my studio. ⸻ Permanent Brows Q: What’s the difference between Nano Feather Brows and Powder Ombre Brows? A: • Nano Feather Brows mimic natural hair strokes for a soft, realistic look. • Powder Ombre Brows create a soft, shaded makeup look that’s more defined. Both last 1-3 years with annual touch-ups. Q: Does it hurt? A: Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but most clients feel little to no discomfort. I use a high-quality numbing agent to keep you comfortable. Q: How long does it last? A: Powder Ombre Brows typically last 2–3 years. Nano Feather Brows last 1-2 years. Fading is natural and annual touch-ups help maintain the shape and color. Certain medications and skincare can cause faster fading. Q: What’s the healing process like? A: You’ll have about 7–14 days of initial healing where your brows may darken, scab, or flake. Full healing takes around 4–6 weeks. I’ll send you detailed aftercare instructions to make it easy. Q: Can I still wear brow makeup after? A: Yes! After 1 week, you can add makeup if you want a bolder look for special occasions. ⸻ Fine Line Tattoos Q: Do you do all styles of tattoos? A: I specialize in fine line, floral, and delicate designs. I do not offer heavy traditional styles or realism. But I am open to certain tattoos outside of my aesthetic. Q: Do fine line tattoos fade faster? A: Fine line tattoos can fade more quickly than bold styles, especially on high-friction areas. I’ll go over placement and care tips to help your tattoo last. Q: Do you tattoo men? A: I only tattoo men if I know them by personal connection, client referral, or if they come with a partner/friend. My studio is intentionally a safe space for women and femme-aligned individuals Q: What is your booking process for tattoos? A: Most tattoo appointments start with you filling out the forms inputting your design, placement, and details. This will help me better understand if you are the right fit for my tattoo style and studio. If you are, I will send you a link to my booking site. From there you will book your appointment and pay the deposit. Q: Do you do touch-ups? A: Yes, touch-ups are available only for existing clients. If you are wanting a tattoo touched up but I did not complete the tattoo. You will need to send me a photo. At this time I only touch up tattoo similar in the same style as mine. NO COVERUPS ⸻ Before Your Appointment Q: How should I prepare? A: • Arrive well-rested and hydrated. • Avoid alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before. • Don’t take blood thinners unless prescribed. • Eat a good meal before your appointment. Q: What if I need to reschedule? A: Your deposit allows for one reschedule with notice. All deposits are non-refundable. ⸻ Aftercare Q: How do I care for my brows/tattoo after? A: I’ll send you clear aftercare instructions at the end of your appointment. Following them is essential for the best results and longevity. ⸻
